Social Play Sessions

Hourly Play Sessions for small dogs and Hourly Play Sessions for big dogs.

Our Play Sessions are perfect for socialising dogs with others in our big, safe and secure field.

Small dog and big dog sessions are actually 50 mins of playtime.

Our Play Sessions are held frequently, keep an eye on facebook and website.

We separate dogs by size, not age or breed. If you own a medium breed dog (eg. spaniel), we recommend that quieter, timid dogs join the small dog play sessions, and confident, playful dogs join the big dog play sessions.

We recommend all dogs be insured and at very least treated regularly for worming and flea treatment, ideally also vaccinated.

All dogs must already be well socialised. No bitches in heat. Every Play Session is supervised by myself.

These are not training sessions, we just provide the space for dogs and people to mix.  If your dog becomes disruptive we ask that you remove them and book private sessions. Owners must stay with their dogs for the whole session.

If you have a dog that is not well socialised, we recommend you contact a dog trainer for socialising classes before joining our play sessions. Perhaps there will be a trainer that already uses our field, get in touch for more info. Thank you.

Puppy Socialisation Sessions:

Separate puppy sessions are also available and 30 mins long. A great way to help socialise your new puppies with other puppies. Let your puppy make new lifelong friends in our safe and secure field.

“Socialisation” does not just mean meeting other dogs. Socialisation means going to new places, experiencing new sights, sounds, smells, humans, other animals and making each of those experiences are POSITIVE ones. Socialisation is a learning process that a puppy must undergo to learn key life skills which ensure that they are happy and confident in their environment.

It is a crucial part of your puppies development. A well socialised puppy is likely to have fewer behavioural issues and is less likely to display signs of aggression in stressful or exciting situations. It will make dog-walking a more enjoyable experience, coupled with good-training – a well socialised and obedient dog makes dog-walking even more of a pleasure. It is really important that when we socialise puppies, it is not just about exposing them to new things and overwhelming them but providing them with positive exposure to these things. That is why we keep our puppies socials small, 30 minutes long.

Come and have fun 🙂
