IMPORTANT NOTE WHEN ENTERING THE 4 AREA FIELD to join a training/social session:

Do not head into an area of playing dogs with your dog on a leash. It almost always ends badly. Many dogs behave very differently when they’re on their lead and react poorly to play. Which is understandable. From the dogs perspective, they are encumbered and bound, and probably don’t like the idea of engaging in play until they are freed up.  You know your dog better than anyone, but this is just something to be mindful of.

For dog training sessions, your trainer will inform you of their preferred choice of entry prior to arrival.

We cannot give refunds for bad weather unless we have made the decision to shut the facility for safety purposes.

Never push dogs to do anything that they are not physically or mentally capable of.

Allow dogs to go at their own pace and always give them the option of not doing something.

Always start with small versions of skills practised in a slow and controlled way with several repetitions. Shaping techniques (rewarding for each successive step that is closer to the final goal) are recommended.

Ensure dogs warm up properly with several repetitions of smaller, slower, simpler behaviours prior to working on the more complicated skills.
